Specifics

A genuine Victor Talking Machine with a strong, double-spring motor and a sleek black horn, with original paint and decals. This horn, after 100 years, is still in fine condition. And it is extremely rare to find one of this caliber. Furthermore, we've taken this instrument completely apart, cleaned and adjusted each component, and reassembled it to factory specifications.

The bracket which supports the horn has its original gold and blue filigree decoration. We restored the soundbox (needlehead) to produce bright, bold music. Note the original patent decal near the end of the horn.

The world's most famous trade mark, "His Master's Voice," adorns the horn in this original, century-old decal.

The double-spring motor is scrupulously clean and we spared no time or effort to make it run like new. In fact, like the rest of the instrument, we took this marvelous device into pieces to make sure it was in perfect fettle.

This little schematic illustrates the motor and gives instructions for proper lubrication.

For beauty and originality, his instrument leads the band! The Victor III is lovely to look at and inspiring to hear! This is a an imposing instrument, with a elegant ebony-hued horn still bearing its ORIGINAL paint, and pretty oak cabinet, restored to perfection -- and it produces gleeful music!
