New Diamond Amberola
In its pretty oak cabinet, the instrument might be mistaken for the ubiquitous Victrola, but INSIDE is a different story! At the heart of the mechanism is a reliable spring motor, with smooth-running components. The reproducer, as mentioned employs a diamond stylus -- never wears out, never wears the record!

The motor was a great advance over previous models -- it was direct gear drive, no leather belts to get out of order. The playing mechanism is a model of simplicity, cleverly designed to trim the fat and produce optimum results. Note the original "Edison" decal at the rear. Note also the deep cobalt Edison Blue Amberol cylinder record shown in playing position. These records were superbly recorded and produce extraordinary music.

Closing the lid keeps out dust, and improves the quality of the sound when playing. Care to listen to some old cylinder records? The Amberola 50 is the charming way to enjoy them!
Price: $650.00 US, including one 4-minute cylinder record, plus shipping and handling. (NY State residents must pay sales tax, if applicable.)
