Learn more about the Victor

Mahogany has a particularly luscious presence -- it's well-seasoned and silky smooth.  The horn has been painted in precise replication of horns of the period. In fact, we believe you'll find this horn so pleasing and utterly convincing that you'll think it hard to believe the subtle decoration is modern. The horn itself, of course, it antique and original.

The curvaceous design of the cabinet made the Victor IV unusual in the Victor roster -- an absolute stand-out in mahogany, among Victor's primarily oak models. The famous "His Master's Voice" logo is proudly displayed.

The original fancy filigree of the original components in gold and blue. And of course, we restored the soundbox (needlehead) to produce sweet, loud and clear music.

Strong, reliable, double-spring motor will play any record.

The only other aristocratic Victor instrument that was made in mahogany was the Victor VI (Six), which presently sells for $7000. and up! By comparison, the elegant IV shown here is a bargain. The IV is graceful, refined -- a  delight to the eyes AND ears!
