GRAPHOPHONE Q

Spotlessly clean, sparkling nickel-plated works - gleaming brushed nickel base, in extraordinary condition. YES, this is a more than century-old instrument! The fun of the Q is that you can watch all the gears meshing and whirring as the record plays. To many people, a cylinder record is fascinating enough -- but the Q makes the experience doubly enriching.

Original cabinet finish and decal is gorgeously intact.

On the rear of the cabinet, another original decal trumpets the success of the Columbia Graphophone at the Paris Exposition of 1900. The Q had been introduced in 1899, and its deceivingly simple mechanism was amazingly successful.

Columbia patents attractively displayed on this plate.

As pretty a package as ever lit up your life! And we stress -- this Graphophone Q is clean, crisp and clear-playing. The motor does precisely what it was designed to do 109 years ago -- play one 2-minute cylinder record per complete winding.
Price: $650.00 with historically correct 10" replica nickel horn, and one Edison 2-minute cylinder record (NY State residents must add tax if applicable).
